Temporary Academic Adjustments and Services

The Office for Services for Students with Disabilities offers a wide variety of services to students with temporary documented disabilities. Services are extended to students with temporary disabilities only for the duration of their functional limitations associated with their disability. The eligibility process is the same as for permanent disability cases. After reviewing your documentation, the director will determine appropriate academic services and academic adjustments depending how you are limited in the academic setting. The Director will explain the process you will need to follow in accessing the academic adjustments for which you are eligible. You will then be responsible for requesting most academic adjustments in a timely manner and to follow Services for Students with Disabilities policies and procedures for accessing academic adjustments.
