Circuits Laboratory

• Work safely in an electrical laboratory environment
• Participate as a contributing team member on a project
• Present laboratory results in a professional manner
• Understand the effects of meter loading on electrical measurements
• Use various multi-meters to measure voltage and current parameters
• Compare the capabilities of various types of multi-meters
• Use and understand the limitations of laboratory DC power supplies
• Verify Kirchoff’s voltage and current laws in physical circuit excitation
• Fabricate basic circuits using practical components
• Perform basic measurements using the oscilloscope
• Quantity the phase shift between two signals
• Understand the basic operation and uses of a diode
