Licensure of Professional Engineers (PE)

Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is becoming increasingly important during the practice of engineering in today’s society. In the State of Louisiana, the Fundamentals of Engineering examination (formerly the Engineer-in-Training examination) is offered twice each year. The Department of Engineering urges all seniors to take this examination prior to graduation. Refresher short courses are offered free of charge to McNeese students a few weeks prior the examination.
