How to Enroll
Here are the Steps for Enrolling at McNeese State University.
Personalized Campus Tours
We invite you to take a closer look at McNeese State University by visiting our campus. Your tour guide, one of our Enrollment Counselors, can arrange for you to meet with an academic adviser during your visit, and the guided tour will give you an overview of the campus which can include visiting an academic department, the library, residence halls, the recently renovated food court, and the recreation complex. McNeese State Univeristy is located in Lake Charles Louisiana about midway between New Orleans Louisiana, and Houston Texas. For driving directions and maps to campus, please go here. You can also view our campus on Google Maps™.
Getting to the Enrollment Information Center
Driving Directions from the East
Take Interstate 10 (I-10) west toward Lake Charles. Exit onto Interstate 210 (I-210) when approaching Lake Charles, which will take you south and then west. From Interstate 210, take exit 6A (Ryan Street) in Lake Charles. Turn left from the exit ramp onto Ryan Street and drive south for one mile. After you cross Sale Road, you will see the university on your left. Approximately halfway through campus you will come to a traffic light – corner of Ryan St. and Beauregard Dr. Turn left into campus and then immediately right into our visitor’s parking lot.
Driving Directions from the West
Take Interstate 10 (I-10) east toward Lake Charles. Exit onto Interstate 210 (I-210) when approaching Lake Charles, which will take you south and then east. From Interstate 210, take exit 6A (Ryan Street) in Lake Charles. Turn left from the exit ramp onto College Street and drive east for 1/10 of a mile to the intersection of College Street and Ryan Street. Turn right onto Ryan Street and drive south for one mile. After you cross Sale Road, you will see the university on your left. Approximately halfway through campus you will come to a traffic light – corner of Ryan St. and Beauregard Dr. Turn left into campus and then immediately right into our visitor’s parking lot.
