For federal Financial Aid eligibility, grades are checked on a per-semester basis. Any student who does not maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in the current term (or earlier term if not enrolled currently) will have to appeal for the next term enrolled (including summer). Please review the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy which went into effect fall 2007 for more details at www.mcneese.edu/finaid/sap.asp

Example-If a student was on probation for the spring semester and a student did not maintain SAP for the spring than you MUST appeal to regain financial aid for the next semester.
