I would like to welcome you to McNeese State University's LAMP website!  I am Dr. George F. Mead, Dean of the College of Science and Campus Coordinator of the Louis Stokes-Louisiana Alliance for Minority Participation (LAMP).  I would encourage all students to take pride in their abilities in order to become successful in life.  Always remember to set high goals for a prosperous future and don't be afraid of mistakes because it is only by learning from them that we prosper.  Stay focused on the tasks ahead and never let the storms get you down.  Keep in mind that there is always a rainbow after every storm with a pot of gold awaiting you at the end.
