The William A. Oliver Memorial Golf Tournament will be on Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Country Club at Golden Nugget with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
This heartfelt celebration of the memory of a community pillar, William A. “Bill” Oliver, is conveniently scheduled the day before LegisGator Luncheon.
This tournament honors Oliver by bringing together his friends and colleagues from the different sectors he worked in to support his beloved alma mater, McNeese State University. He was a 1971 McNeese graduate and received the McNeese Distinguished Alumni Award in 2005 for his outstanding career with AT&T Louisiana and Ochsner Health System.
An exclusive social event for registered golfers and sponsors will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Drago’s Restaurant inside L’Auberge Casino Resort. It will be a fantastic chance to connect with other attendees in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
