Faculty Spotlight: Bridget McDaniel

Bridget McDaniel is an Assistant Professor of Art. She holds a master’s degree in art history from Louisiana State University and the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, Greece.

She specializes in ancient sculpture and her research has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. Bridget has received multiple grants, endowed professorships, the President’s Award for Outstanding Innovative Teaching and the Outstanding Communicator of the Year Award.

Bridget is Coordinator of the Academic Studies Abroad Program for the Visual Arts Department. She has taught McNeese students at locations around the world including China, Egypt, Peru, Greece, Turkey and Western Europe. She is also the Curator of the Visual Resource Center for the department.
