Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering
Dr. Qiu Liu received her bachelor and master of electrical engineering from Chongqing University. She received her Ph.D. in industrial engineering from The University of Toledo. She has taught engineering technology, electrical engineering, and general engineering courses for 20 years at McNeese. She has industrial experience as a control engineer in process industry. She does research on control system and engineering education. Her teaching and research objective is to provide students with practical experience and theoretical background that they can resolve real-world problems, change the world by creating new engineering products and saving natural resources including energy.
