McNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY

Animal science senior Chelsea Coleman is one of 20 students selected from nine Louisiana universities for the Louisiana Wildlife Federation’s Edgar Veillon Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC) program.
The CLC is designed to provide expert training for future conservation leaders and this year’s focus is on habitat conservation. Real-world issues and experience will be presented by current and former natural resource professionals in the public, non-profit and private sectors.
Through the integration of the presentations, case studies and collaborative activities, Chelsea will increase her knowledge of conservation policy and build skills in leadership and advocacy.
