The Disaster Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Plan’s purpose is to announce precautionary and protective measures for University students, faculty, and staff in the event of a disaster or emergency threatening the life, safety, or property of the campus community. The plan prescribes responsibilities of involved University personnel for execution of the Disaster Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Plan.

The provisions of the plan are, for the most part, general in content and allow for flexibility as required by changing situations. It is the responsibility of University personnel to be thoroughly familiar with the plan. Suggestions for modification of the plan should be submitted to the University president.
