Unlock Education Brings Future Educators to Campus

Four students show off their completed computer task

The Burton College of Education hosted over 160 junior and senior high school students interested in the teaching profession at an Unlock Education event on Friday.

Students participated in a series of hands-on activities that demonstrated engaging and innovative teaching methods led by McNeese faculty and education majors.

Unlock Education is held in conjunction with Educators Rising, a national organization focused on the recruitment and development of future educators.

McNeese offers areas of study for early childhood, elementary and secondary education, and health and human performance.
